Section 1 - Introduction
1.1 The Terms ‘Solomons Windows and Doors Limited’ or ‘We, our or us and customer ‘Customer, you or Purchaser.’
1.2 When purchasing our ‘Products’ that include delivery, you have accepted the ‘terms and conditions’ for our ‘delivery service’—please see delivery service for more details. If you disagree with our terms for our ‘Delivery service,’ please do not purchase any products from us.
1.3 The purchaser is held responsible for the product that they are purchasing.
Section 2 - Purchasing Product
2.1 The dimensions that we use are measured in metric measurements.
2.2 Our Products are based on the outside view with the type of ‘Openings’ ‘Left’ or ‘Right’ Master door.
2.3 Doors are well packaged when it comes to handling our doors for ‘safety purposes’ to prevent glass breaking.
2.4 Once orders are confirmed and the customer may want to cancel, please ‘call’ or ‘email’ as soon as possible within 24 hours to confirm cancellation.
Section 3 - Fees
3.1 Purchasing our goods will require a full payment online for your product to proceed.
3.2 If wanting to purchase our products with ‘cash’, you can pay us at the store, or if you want delivery, a deposit will be required.
3.3 We accept Debit cards, credit cards, AMEX, PayPal, Bank Transfers and Cash
3.4 We do not accept any types of cheques, drafts, or pre-arranged payments.
Section 4 - Delivery & Collection
4.1 To arrange the collection of our products please call us on 0113 5177888.
4.2 Courier drivers will only provide Curbside delivery.
4.3 Courier will let you know a date and the estimated time of arrival for delivery. Items that are under 40kg, the driver will be able to handle alone. Assistance will be required for Products that are over 40kg,
4.5 If the customer cannot take the product in for delivery, delivery will be re-arranged at an extra fee of £100.00.
4.6 All windows and doors are well packaged for safety requirements.
4.7 Please let us know 48 hours before the delivery time if you want to cancel it so we can reschedule delivery.
4.8 The purchaser is responsible for taking delivery. The receiver must inspect the product. The Purchaser will receive a guide to help them understand what to expect. If the products have been tampered with or relocated to another address, we do not accept any liability for the product.
Section 5 - Damaged Goods
5.1 If you have received a product that may be damaged and the company is at fault, we shall come up with a solution to resolve the problem. This may be a partial refund or a replacement. If the customer is at fault with the product, they will have to resolve the problem themselves, or a third party will have to resolve it. The customer will be held responsible and will have to fund the problems.
5.2 When the customer receives the product, the customer shall analyse the door to ensure the product is not damaged. If the product is damaged, the customer should inform us immediately at Info@solomonsdoors.com
6. Installation
6.1 We recommend that when installing the product, it must be done by a professional, as it is not simple to install. We shall provide customers with an installation guide and a guide on adjusting the problem depending on the product type the customer has purchased.
6.2 Before installing our products, please ensure that the product you purchased is the right size and design. Also, inspect the product's general condition to ensure no damage has been done.
6.3 If something is missing, please inform the company as soon as possible so we can post or deliver the missing item.
6.4 If you plan to schedule installation with a third-party company, please ensure you have received everything on delivery. We advise not to schedule installation on the same day as delivery because it may be possible for delivery to be cancelled. This is to avoid disappointment for the customer, who may lose money to a third-party builder.

7.1 The value and quality of our products are one of the cheapest in the UK. We aim to produce in mass quantity to save time and labor money. Our customers can save money compared to other competitors.
7.2 Customers can have peace of mind with our products, as we are very confident in them. We offer warranties on all our products.

Section 9 - Insurance
We take insurance very seriously and cover all types of risks for our company. We have liability insurance.
Section 10 - Circumstances beyond the control
If a failure happens due to a natural event or circumstance beyond our control, economy, material control, or a bad life event. It may be a reasonable issue, and we will not be beyond our control; this will mean it won’t be our responsibility.
Section 11 - Privacy
11.1 We take pride in our customer privacy. We follow the regulation ‘General data protection’ with your personal information. The customer should read the terms and conditions before purchasing. ‘Data protection laws’ ‘GDPR’ ‘Data Controller’ ‘Personal Data’
11.2 Only the information we receive will comply with the customer, and nothing else will.
We follow the laws of privacy, so we have respect rights for our customers. Data will only be accessed when a customer provides details to confirm the order. We make sure that data is highly secured.
Section 12 - Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
12.1 When you have purchased a product from us, please follow the installation guide we provide. If the installation does not go well or fails in any way, we will not be responsible. We also advise having a professional fitter install our products.
12.2 Our company will not be liable for any damages with installation, loss, or third-party fees. We are only responsible for the warranty that we provide. Please see the Warranty page for what you are reliable for.
12.3 We are not liable for any fraudulent acts.
12.4 We are not liable for any injuries or deaths caused by the installation of our products.
12.5 We are not liable for any problem caused by installation as we are only suppliers.
12.6 We are not liable for any money losses the consumer may have suffered because of a contract or agreement with a third-party company.
Section 13 - Government Law, jurisdiction and Complaints
13.1 The conditions we follow are government by the law of the land ‘England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.’ Claims and disputes can be made at the courts. We aim to avoid disputes or claims against us and try to fix the solution immediately. We usually resolve an issue within 3-5 days. Depending on the issue, it may take longer if it requires extra assistance or a lead time for a part.
Section 14 - Warranties
Our windows and doors come with a 10-year warranty from the purchase of the date.
10 Years Hardware—Our products have a 10-year warranty on the hardware, which includes the Locking system, cylinders, handles, rubber seals, and hinges. If any problem occurs, we shall have the hardware replaced.
5 years glazing- Our glazing warranty includes condensation. If the glass has been manufactured incorrectly (Not be able to be used at all)
The glass warranty excludes Minor imperfections where the glass is delicate and stable for its purposes. The glass has not been tampered with or replaced by another glass from a third-party company. Also, any third-party materials that could be a hazard to the glass.
What our warranty does not cover- Our warranty does not cover fading or discolouration on our products. We do not cover any accident damages. This is glass breakage, wear and tear. Any fault of the work near the window/door that will affect our products (dampness, water damage, property damage, lousy installation). General wear and tear of our products. We do not cover any natural problems that are out of our control, such as ‘earthquakes, burning property, floods or any other genuine cases.
Our warranty does not cover anything associated with property issues, such as property mould, misting, or weak structure build. We also do not protect the customer's misuse of our product.
Our warranty is not transferrable or misused. Third-party companies that rearrange the systems or our products are making arrangements that affect our products, the products' purposes, or the problems they cause.
Conditions
When making a claim, please email or call us. The customer must provide all details, including the purchase date. If required, the consumer must describe the issue and attach a photo or video.
The consumer needs to ensure that the products have been installed correctly (professional builders) and that the third party has not caused any problems to our products, as we are not held responsible for this.
Our warranty will not be covered if the consumer has tampered with the product in an unprofessional manner.
If our products are fitted incorrectly, this will lead to problems with profiles, hinges, and locking. It may also lead to air problems, door/window closure problems, and water problems.
Abuse of the product, any modifications, or any other extras that we did not supply.
This only applies to consumers in the United Kingdom; we do not cover any other consumers who plan to export our product.
